James A. Corrigan

Biography of James A. Corrigan …

James A. Corrigan has been dedicated to the creative art profession in excess of forty years. James began his art career and education while in the U.S. Air Force during the early nineteen sixty’s, working as an illustrator.
After military service, James worked in Chicago for fifteen years as a Freelance Artist, Commercial Artist and Art Director for several large corporations.
In the late seventies James decided to make a career change and pursue a new profession, to become a Jeweler. After his education with the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) the Jewelry business of Jas. A. Corrigan, Artisan was established. Then several years later the web site of
www.CreativeArtisan.com was added.
James stayed in his chosen career, servicing the retail trade and the commercial jewelry industry with custom designed jewelry, repair or restoration requests, including a full line of lapidary services until his move to Arizona in 2003.
His life long dream has become a reality that turn into an opportunity for exploring and expressing his creative ideas and talents in several mediums (i.e. metal, clay, paint, wood and so on.)
Now with his relocation to the foothills of the Superstition Mountains, East of Phoenix in Gold Canyon, Arizona a new vision for the future has started. You can contact James Corrigan in his desert studio at (480) 474-0489 or by mobile at (480) 241-1943.
