Why we love it
We admire places that keep Alaska personal, and Treehouse Cove does that beautifully, one group at a time, hosted by the Ogans themselves from the dock to the dinner table. We are delighted their gift shop carries our Creative Artisan pewter, a small, lasting way to take a little of Kachemak Bay home after the fish are packed and the treehouse lights go out.
The experience
Treehouse Cove is the rare lodge that belongs entirely to one group: your treehouse, your beach house, your boat, and your hosts. Scott runs the landing craft out of Seldovia into Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet while Janet looks after the table, so a day can be built around halibut, salmon or simply the tides and the weather. It feels less like checking into a lodge and more like being lent a family's whole cove.
The fish
Each fish links to its pewter counterpart in our shop, the version of the catch that never has to be released.
Take the trip home
Kachemak Bay's halibut and salmon, in pewter, for the group that had the cove to itself.
