Alley Cat Magnet C003M
The Alley Cat, often called a "Street Cat" or "Stray Cat," is a feline free spirit that roams urban neighborhoods and alleyways. These cats have no fixed home and are not typically cared for by a single owner; instead, they rely on their instincts and resourcefulness to find food and shelter. Alley Cats come in various coat colors and patterns, reflecting the diversity of their mixed heritage. While they may not have the pampered life of indoor cats, Alley Cats are known for their resilience and independence. They are skilled hunters, helping to control pest populations in their territories. Although they may appear aloof, many Alley Cats form loose social groups or colonies with other strays for companionship and safety. These cats often lead adventurous lives, navigating the challenges of the urban landscape. Some are fortunate enough to find caring individuals who provide food and even shelter, while others continue their nomadic existence. The Alley Cat embodies the spirit of survival and adaptability.

Craft & construction
Powerful magnets that actually hold. Our magnet strengths vary by design. Smaller magnets pull 3–5 lbs — enough to hold to a refrigerator with more than a single sheet of paper or photo between. The heavier premium magnets use an even stronger 6–7 lb magnet, and slim designs use two smaller magnets where one won't fit. Our magnets are bonded in our studio by an artisan with an industrial-strength adhesive to ensure they will never come loose.
Hand-painted, marine-grade finish. Each hand-painted piece is carefully painted by an artisan right in our studio in Port Gamble, WA. The proprietary multistep process includes priming each piece followed by meticulous painting by hand in acrylics with fine detail work to bring the item to life with incredible detail. The final step adds a coating of marine-grade epoxy — a hard, clear finish that protects the artwork so our product can be used on a boat, outside, or other conditions highly resistant to fading or wear.
Certified American pewter. The antiqued finish is completely safe to touch — and the craft behind it has been refined over three decades. Each batch of pewter that arrives at our shop in Port Gamble, WA from an American supplier comes with a lab test showing the material is lead free.
Ready to give. Every item arrives attached to a backing card and sealed in plastic — clean, protected, and presentable as a gift the moment it arrives.
