With its hulking frame, humped shoulders, and distinctive silver-tipped fur, it commands respect in the animal kingdom. Grizzlies are native to North America and are closely related to other bear species like the Kodiak Bear. One of the defining images of a Grizzly Bear's life revolves around salmon. During the annual salmon runs, these formidable creatures converge on rivers and streams, showcasing their remarkable fishing prowess. Their strong jaws and keen sense of smell enable them to catch and feast on the nutrient-rich salmon, particularly the Pacific Salmon species like the Chinook and Sockeye. These encounters are a vital part of the Grizzly's life cycle, as they gain crucial sustenance before hibernation. The sight of a Grizzly Bear poised at the water's edge, ready to snatch a leaping salmon from the air, is an awe-inspiring testament to the raw power and beauty of nature.

Details

Material: certified American pewter, lead-free

Made: hand-finished in Port Gamble, Washington, USA, from a line of pewter jewelry crafted in America since 1991

Questions

Is it lead-free? Yes.
