Often referred to as “Gift” or “Partnership,” the Gebo rune is a symbol in runic alphabets with deep historical and mystical significance. Represented by an X or cross-like shape, Gebo embodies reciprocity, generosity, and the exchange of gifts in various cultures. In Norse mythology, it signifies divine blessings and the interconnectedness of human relationships, symbolizing giving and receiving as a harmonious exchange. Gebo is also associated with partnerships, unions, and the bonds formed in both personal and business interactions. As a symbol, it reminds us of the balance between giving and receiving, and of the importance of fairness and mutual benefit. In divination, Gebo can signify a gift or an offering, highlighting the idea that what is given will be returned. It serves as a reminder of the power of exchange and cooperation in our lives, fostering harmony and balance in our interactions.

Craft & construction

Built to stay put. Our pins have two posts and clutches which hold it flat and ensure a spin-free application wherever you display it. It solves a common pin complaint. The 1/4-inch steel tacks are long enough to pass through most fabrics, about 1/4 inch, yet short enough to sit flush. And each clutch seats into a small groove on the post with a firm, satisfying click — haptic feedback that tells you it's locked, and a detail cheaper pins skip.
