These gentle giants, often referred to as "Devil Fish," are baleen whales, related to humpback and blue whales. They are renowned for their mottled gray coloration and distinctive, heart-shaped blow, which can spout up to 15 feet into the air. Grey Whales are primarily found along the eastern and western coasts of the North Pacific Ocean, where they embark on one of the longest migrations of any mammal. Every year, they journey thousands of miles between their feeding grounds in the Arctic and their breeding and calving grounds in the warm waters of Baja California, Mexico. This epic migration is a spectacle that draws admirers from around the world. These massive marine mammals are filter feeders, using their baleen plates to sift through the ocean water and consume small crustaceans and plankton. Their friendly and curious nature has made them a favorite among whale watchers and researchers alike. The Grey Whale's incredible migration, awe-inspiring size, and gentle disposition make it a true marvel of the natural world, capturing the hearts of all who encounter it.

Details

Material: certified American pewter, lead-free

Made: hand-finished in Port Gamble, Washington, USA, from a line of pewter jewelry crafted in America since 1991

Questions

Is it lead-free? Yes.
