Often called the "Torch" or "Kano" in runic traditions, the Kenaz Rune is a symbol of illumination, knowledge, and transformation. It embodies the concept of controlled fire, representing both the physical flame and the inner enlightenment that comes with learning and self-discovery. This rune is associated with creativity, inspiration, and the spark of innovation. It signifies a guiding light in times of darkness, offering clarity and guidance. In divination, Kenaz can indicate a breakthrough or a moment of profound insight. It encourages embracing change and embracing one's inner fire to achieve personal growth and transformation. The Kenaz Rune reminds us that through the light of knowledge and the controlled blaze of passion, we can illuminate our path and achieve our aspirations.

Craft & construction

Built to stay put. Our pins have two posts and clutches which hold it flat and ensure a spin-free application wherever you display it. It solves a common pin complaint. The 1/4-inch steel tacks are long enough to pass through most fabrics, about 1/4 inch, yet short enough to sit flush. And each clutch seats into a small groove on the post with a firm, satisfying click — haptic feedback that tells you it's locked, and a detail cheaper pins skip.

Certified American pewter. The antiqued finish is completely safe to touch — and the craft behind it has been refined over three decades. Each batch of pewter that arrives at our shop in Port Gamble, WA from an American supplier comes with a lab test showing the material is lead free.

Ready to give. Every item arrives attached to a backing card and sealed in plastic — clean, protected, and presentable as a gift the moment it arrives.
