Killer Whale Magnet A612M
Commonly known as the "Killer Whale" or simply "Orca," the Alaskan Orca Whale is a majestic marine mammal that roams the cold, pristine waters of Alaska. These powerful apex predators are revered for their distinctive black and white coloration, making them instantly recognizable. Orcas are often called "wolves of the sea" due to their cunning hunting tactics and social structure, and they are the largest members of the dolphin family, with males growing up to 32 feet in length. Alaskan Orcas are renowned for their intelligence and complex social behaviors, living in tightly-knit pods led by matriarchs. They are formidable hunters, preying on fish, seals, and even larger marine mammals, and they communicate through a vast repertoire of clicks, whistles, and songs, displaying remarkable vocal abilities. Witnessing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is a breathtaking experience, as they breach, spy-hop, and tail-slap, creating lasting memories for those fortunate enough to encounter them in the wild.

Craft & construction
Powerful magnets that actually hold. Our magnet strengths vary by design. Smaller magnets pull 3–5 lbs — enough to hold to a refrigerator with more than a single sheet of paper or photo between. The heavier premium magnets use an even stronger 6–7 lb magnet, and slim designs use two smaller magnets where one won't fit. Our magnets are bonded in our studio by an artisan with an industrial-strength adhesive to ensure they will never come loose.
Certified American pewter. The antiqued finish is completely safe to touch — and the craft behind it has been refined over three decades. Each batch of pewter that arrives at our shop in Port Gamble, WA from an American supplier comes with a lab test showing the material is lead free.
