The Naudhiz rune, also known as "Naudiz" or "Need," is an ancient symbol in runic alphabets, specifically in the Elder Futhark runic system. It represents the concept of necessity, constraint, and need. This rune embodies the idea of challenges and limitations, signifying that sometimes hardships and obstacles are essential for personal growth and development. Naudhiz carries the message that through adversity, individuals can discover their inner strength and resilience. It serves as a reminder that embracing difficulties can lead to positive transformation and self-improvement. In divination and runic readings, Naudhiz can indicate a period of hardship or constraint but also suggests that with determination and adaptability, one can overcome challenges and emerge stronger. It encourages individuals to confront their needs and face life's trials with courage and perseverance.

Craft & construction

Powerful magnets that actually hold. Our magnet strengths vary by design. Smaller magnets pull 3–5 lbs — enough to hold to a refrigerator with more than a single sheet of paper or photo between. The heavier premium magnets use an even stronger 6–7 lb magnet, and slim designs use two smaller magnets where one won't fit. Our magnets are bonded in our studio by an artisan with an industrial-strength adhesive to ensure they will never come loose.

Certified American pewter. The antiqued finish is completely safe to touch — and the craft behind it has been refined over three decades. Each batch of pewter that arrives at our shop in Port Gamble, WA from an American supplier comes with a lab test showing the material is lead free.

Ready to give. Every item arrives attached to a backing card and sealed in plastic — clean, protected, and presentable as a gift the moment it arrives.
