Pterodactyl Flying Dinosauar Magnet A190
Often nicknamed the "Pterosaur," the Pterodactyl was a remarkable prehistoric reptile that lived during the Mesozoic Era. It belonged to the group of flying reptiles known as Pterosaurs, which coexisted with dinosaurs. Pterodactyls had wingspans ranging from a few inches to over 30 feet, making them the first vertebrates to achieve powered flight. Their wings were supported by a single elongated finger, similar to a bat's wing, and covered by a membrane of skin. They varied in size, from small, agile species to large, predatory ones, and are often associated with the ancient seas and coastal environments, where they soared above and plunged into the waters to catch fish. These remarkable creatures represent a fascinating chapter in the history of Earth's biodiversity, offering insights into the evolution of flight in the animal kingdom.

Craft & construction
Powerful magnets that actually hold. Our magnet strengths vary by design. Smaller magnets pull 3–5 lbs — enough to hold to a refrigerator with more than a single sheet of paper or photo between. The heavier premium magnets use an even stronger 6–7 lb magnet, and slim designs use two smaller magnets where one won't fit. Our magnets are bonded in our studio by an artisan with an industrial-strength adhesive to ensure they will never come loose.
Hand-painted, marine-grade finish. Each hand-painted piece is carefully painted by an artisan right in our studio in Port Gamble, WA. The proprietary multistep process includes priming each piece followed by meticulous painting by hand in acrylics with fine detail work to bring the item to life with incredible detail. The final step adds a coating of marine-grade epoxy — a hard, clear finish that protects the artwork so our product can be used on a boat, outside, or other conditions highly resistant to fading or wear.
Certified American pewter. The antiqued finish is completely safe to touch — and the craft behind it has been refined over three decades. Each batch of pewter that arrives at our shop in Port Gamble, WA from an American supplier comes with a lab test showing the material is lead free.
