Barnacle Pewter Pin

The Barnacle Pin celebrates one of nature's weirdest success stories—crustaceans that cement themselves to rocks head-first as larvae, then spend their lives kicking food into their mouths with their feet. They're marine oddities that have conquered every ocean, every tide zone, outlasting storms that destroy everything else. Sailors curse them, but biologists respect their evolutionary genius.

Perfect for marine biologists who study intertidal zones, tide pool explorers who've watched them feed, or anyone fascinated by creatures that succeed by doing everything backward. It's a conversation starter about nature's creative solutions to survival. Makes a quirky gift for someone who appreciates the ocean's strange residents.

Choose from multiple finishes to suit your style. Built with materials sourced from long-established U.S. suppliers and finished by hand in Washington. It's wearable art that honors one of the ocean's most successful and peculiar colonizers.
