The Tyrannosaurus rex, commonly known as T-rex, is an iconic dinosaur that once roamed the Earth during the Late Cretaceous period. Often referred to as the "King of the Dinosaurs," the T-rex was a colossal predator with a massive head, sharp teeth, and tiny, seemingly useless arms. Its towering presence and powerful jaws allowed it to dominate the prehistoric food chain, preying on creatures like Triceratops and hadrosaurs. This fearsome dinosaur had a reputation for its ferocity and is believed to have been a scavenger as well as a formidable hunter. With its massive size, it was one of the largest land predators in history, standing up to 20 feet tall and measuring over 40 feet in length. The T-rex's name, which means "tyrant lizard king," aptly describes its dominance in the ancient world.
