Walleye Magnet F075
Also known as the Yellow Pike or Pickerel, the Walleye is a freshwater fish native to Northern United States and Canada, highly prized by anglers for its fighting spirit and delicious taste. Closely related to the European Pikeperch, the Walleye is distinguished by its olive-green coloring, golden belly, and characteristic glassy, opaque eyes, which reflect its nocturnal hunting habits. These fish typically inhabit murky waters, where their unique eye structure gives them a predatory advantage. Walleyes are a sought-after sport fish, known for their elusive nature and the challenge they present to fishermen. They can grow quite large, with some specimens reaching over 30 inches in length. The Walleye plays a significant role in commercial and recreational fishing, making it an important species in many freshwater ecosystems. Beyond its appeal to anglers, the Walleye's flaky, white flesh is highly valued for its mild, sweet flavor, making it a favorite among freshwater fish for culinary purposes.

Craft & construction
Powerful magnets that actually hold. Our magnet strengths vary by design. Smaller magnets pull 3–5 lbs — enough to hold to a refrigerator with more than a single sheet of paper or photo between. The heavier premium magnets use an even stronger 6–7 lb magnet, and slim designs use two smaller magnets where one won't fit. Our magnets are bonded in our studio by an artisan with an industrial-strength adhesive to ensure they will never come loose.
Hand-painted, marine-grade finish. Each hand-painted piece is carefully painted by an artisan right in our studio in Port Gamble, WA. The proprietary multistep process includes priming each piece followed by meticulous painting by hand in acrylics with fine detail work to bring the item to life with incredible detail. The final step adds a coating of marine-grade epoxy — a hard, clear finish that protects the artwork so our product can be used on a boat, outside, or other conditions highly resistant to fading or wear.
Certified American pewter. The antiqued finish is completely safe to touch — and the craft behind it has been refined over three decades. Each batch of pewter that arrives at our shop in Port Gamble, WA from an American supplier comes with a lab test showing the material is lead free.
